Give me a break!

I mean in Oklahoma of all places. I am not sure if this is a sign of being to PC, or too sensitive, or a cop with an Agenda. Regardless the officer went waaay outside of his lane with this one and they need to do more than apologize for this one. I hope this guy sues the departments butt off.

His sign in no way was a threat.

  1. I submit that the guy (not the cop) was a day late and a dollar short as Obama has already been elected. Since they and Texas didn’t get the word about the end of slavery until weeks after, I suspect he’s keeping in the state’s tradition.
He shouldn’t have gotten pulled over, but the cop doesn’t owe him an apology. They have enough to contend with.

  2. I still see bumper stickers for Kerry/Edwards, as well as those that could be interpreted as threats against Bush, but I don’t see those cars being pulled over.

I have several cops in my family and if I got stopped by someone because of a BUMPER STICKER, an apology would be the least of his worries. I’d be hitting the speed dial button to my attorney! Not to mention, I’d call in the family to help humiliate the twit down at the station.
