I’m tired of hearing Obama talk about how he “inherited” the national debt while he himself has created over $3 trillion of it as either a Senator or as President in the past year. Take some accountability, Mr. President.

Obama said he will hold America’s mayors and governors accountable for their spending of the stimulus money.

“This time” COEs won’t be able to use taxpayer money to pad their paychecks or fly on private jets. When did that happen again?

The cost of inaction worse than what he is doing, he says. If they do nothing, the economy could go like this for decades.

My question is: will he even mention our fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan?

Sorry about that. I got called away on business halfway through the speech. I’ll have to read the transcript and finish later.

   The sad truth is that if he doesn’t fix the economy or at least contribute to its recovery, we won’t be able to continue in either war.
   The mayor’s comments after were a little disparaging as she kept the Republican line that less regulation is better. Most would agree that a lack of regulation contributed to this mess, or at least regulation that wasn’t enforced properly.
