President Obama Speaks to Troops In Iraq
Talk amongst yourselves. What do you think of this speech to troops he visited with in Iraq? And what’s with the two dudes that look like they’re about to kiss behind the president? Nothing like having to rub crotches while the Commander In Chief is pacing back and forth.

I’ll start with the fact that I noticed Obama had to use note cards to mention ANY of the units in attendance. That saddens me. Was it that difficult to memorize even ONE of them? And don’t think I didn’t notice that all the whities had to stand in the back to make room for the women and “minorities” up front!! EO my ass!
Um, I noticed he note cards right away too, dont ever remember Bush needing cards to make acknowledgments. Also noticed how there were nothing but “minorities” in the sight line as he paced back and forth. The other thing I noticed, was toward the end when he said how much he and Michelle care about the troops, and then said he will make sure they have what they need for the sacrifices they have already made, and all I could think of was, Is this the same man who just called for Wounded Vets to pay for their own health coverage for wounds sustained in action??? HELLOOOOOOO!!! Is there ANYBODY at home in the upstairs of this man??? And the other thing that bothers me, I know its sooo petty, but since those “other” people had to make such a big issue out of it, how can Obama say he gives a crap about the troops when he never served a day in his life. Not even in the National Guard, which was made to be a dirty thing and not considered “Serving ones country” when it was Bush who served in it. This mans filthy hypocrisy is just beyond the pale.
I noticed the women and minoroties up front too. Please tell me I didn’t hear the POTUS say “What up?” when he entered the building. How embarassing…
He and Michelle care my ass…then explain why he is planning on using the current CBO report to force military dependents to pay for their own healthcare? Yeah, they care about us enough to pull the rug out from underneath us financially. That’s a fine “thank you” from a grateful nation.
Were those in attendance ordered to scream and cheer this clown?
He needed a note card to say: “Let me just tell you..” WTH!!!!

After all the bashing of the mission in Iraq, how can anyone think that anything he does or says now, means anything more than a political point for him.
And the left screeched about “Bush’s photo-ops” with the troops. Feh!
Supporting the military?? Hey, how about paying our military the pay they actually deserve? And untie their hands so they can do their job! And not cut defense so they are protected???

I wouldn’t let him in to visit my daughter if she (god forbid) ever ended up in Walter Reed.
This is going to make some of you fall over by hearing me say this, but the biggest piece of irony of the whole thing is that there would be no way he could be fullfilling his promise to pull the troops out or even travel where he went to without safety garnered by the “Surge”. Bush and the Republicans took an enourmouse hit for it and I know politics being what they are, Obama can’t acknowledge it, but I hope he realizes it internally.
As far as him using cue cards, I don’t see what the big deal is. I use them a lot when addressing people that I believe are very important and I don’t want to forget anything. I’d rather him do it then “wing it”.

I couldn’t make it through all the way. Loved the minorities on proud display. I love the being in Camp Victory when Iraq and the word victory will never be used by his administration. Love how he thinks the transfer can now begin to the Iraqi people since his pretty feet stepped foot on the soil as the new CInC. LOVE IT. Bunches.
