I have renewed respect for you, Troy. Most folks are dinging him now for changing his mind or direction, but I think leaders should be given the leeway to do so based on new information.
Reminds me of Bush 41 who pointedly didn't want to raise taxes and then when fiscal responsibility demanded it, he did what he had to do.

Those pics have no value outside of sadistic pornography.

The idiots involved have been prosecuted, having done grave harm to the US, the Military, and their fellow troops.

The idiots involved were acting outside of their authority and in a manner contrary to their training.

While it's a good reversal, he still should have said no from the get go. And I'm not so sure his motives are good. Time will tell. My gut tells me the photos will be shown anyway, but Obama will come out smelling like a rose, and that will be his sole intention. Color me cynical and pessimistic with this guy!

I think it was a good call too. And let's hope that quality of being able to change his mind and do what's right for the troops in the face of some strong partisan wars will prevail.
