His delusions about his personal self worth are legendary! Ordering those men (and women?) to "appear" (show up) for the PHOTO OP, was selfish and inconsiderate. It's all about Obama! At the expense of others. Our troops are not ignorant! They know that it was just another PHOTO OP! Nothing more.

I applaud David Jr's service to our country and am respectful of the wounds he's received as a result. I'm impressed by his having met some important people that truly care about the military. While I can't get into his father's head when he said he was ordered or asked to appear, I can't get around the fact that if Bush's handshake were weak and his plane delayed, it wouldn't have been a big deal. Reagan wasn't known for having a firm handshake and was consistantly late. Yet I will always be one of his fans for his leadership in what did matter.
