About Bouhammer
I go by the name Bouhammer [boo-hammer], and I am thrilled to be blogging here on militarypundits.com. I, along with CJ started this site so he, I, and many other serving and previously serving members of the military had a place to talk politics. My normal blogging site, www.bouhammer.com is meant to be focused on military issues and issues relating to Afghanistan specifically.
I found that I had more and more political type posts going up on the site. I realize that many of my readers over at www.bouhammer.com may just want to read and learn about Afghanistan, not hear about my political views and rants. So this blog here gives me a chance to rant, rave, vent, yell, share, talk about, anything I want that deals with politics.
In addition to these two sites, I also write for VA Mortgage Center.com’s blog over at www.youserved.com. In addition to writing for them I, along with CJ also host the weekly online radio show called You Served. You can check it out live any Thursday night from 7-9PM EST at www.blogtalkradio.com/youserved or go there to listen to past episodes. You can also subscribe to it in itunes and have it automatically download to iTunes after the shows.
I am a 22-year Senior Infantry Non-Commissioned Officer in the National Guard. I have ten years of Active Duty and 12 year of National Guard time. I am a veteran of Desert Storm, Noble Eagle, and Enduring Freedom. I have also served multiple stateside missions in response to the attacks of 9/11 and in support of the 2004 Republican National Convention. I have served in the DMZ of S. Korea, having been stationed there for a year. I am not only an army brat, but I am also the father of a combat-seasoned medic.

God bless you for your service and your efforts here. I commend you for both; I served in the 82nd ABN and retired in Jan 2009 from the ANG after 26 years of service. Up until the site came down, I wrote regularly for Soldiers For The Truth’s DEFENSEWATCH, the foundation and website that was started by the late Colonel David H. Hackworth, INF, USA (Ret).
These blogs are necessary and vital, especially in light of the fact that we have a Marxist posing as a centrist Democrat in the White House.
