So Whoopi Goldberg decided she’d play the race card (again).  Well, Whoopti-Doo!  Whoopi, honey, it’s been over-played.  By you, by Janeane Garafolo, by Chris “Tingles” Matthews and by every other liberal that can’t defend the President’s actions and policies with facts or logic.

Stop calling me racist.  It’s old, and it’s trite.  Stop trying to tell me that I don’t know what it’s like to be discriminated against because of my race.  I’ve been discriminated against not only because of my race (both of them) but because of my gender as well.  Piss off, liberals.  You’ve discriminated more against me than any WASP, then turn around and tell me I’m the racist because I abhor the direction the President is taking the country.  You’re going to have to collectively find a new rebuttal.

Today is Diversity Thursday over at CDR Salamander’s place, so I thought I’d join in some of his fun.  I’m half Caucasian and half Filipino.  I was adopted and raised by Mk 1 Mod 0 white parents.  In the course of my life I’ve been referred to as “the Chinaman” and “Ho Chi Minh” by white and black peers, ostracized by Filipino shipmates for being mixed race, and even told that I wasn’t a “real part of the family” by a cousin.  When I was in college, I spent a few years in AFROTC.   A female Captain, who happened to be OSI by trade, made some inquiries after asking me why I hadn’t applied for a scholarship when, in her view, I would have been a shoe-in for one (at first she didn’t believe me when I told her I had).  She later informed me that I hadn’t received one because “you aren’t a black female”.  Evidently, being an Eagle Scout that graduated in the top ten percent of his high school class while taking honors courses and scoring a 32 on the ACT didn’t stand up to the qualifications of having been born with breasts, a vagina, and darker skin.  I’m guessing that’s what happened to the NROTC scholly I applied for, as well.  I’m not touting myself as the reincarnation of Georgie Patton here, but when we select people for leadership and advancement based on “diversity” criteria and not actual ability we have no reason to wonder why things are screwed up.

Let me leave you with one thought to ponder: if the President was Herman Cain or Allen West, what would you hear from the left? They’re already saying it…UNCLE TOM!

But we’re the racists. Liberals, you can kiss my (half) brown…

..to ruin it for everyone else.

I have some friends who work for the TSA and they are stand up guys. However there are always some out there that give them a bad name just like any organization (Liddy England, Michael Yon, OJ).
There is an old saying that goes like “you never do nothing wrong until you get caught”. Well when you do that wrong in front of a reporter for Time Magazine then you can rest assured you are coing to get caught.

Or it was, until a male TSA agent walked behind us and hollered: “Hey, I thought she was mine! I was gonna do her!”

And that is why the TSA has started to become the most hated government organization in our country today. It is about freedoms and liberties ladies and gentlemen. We in America realize we have to give some up in current times due to security but it won’t be tolerated if you violate the trust of the American people for your own personal gratification.

Obama Admin not being as “open” as promised http://militarypundits.com/2011/02/obama-admin-not-being-as-open-as-promised/ http://militarypundits.com/2011/02/obama-admin-not-being-as-open-as-promised/#comments Wed, 02 Feb 2011 21:05:00 +0000 Bouhammer http://militarypundits.com/2011/02/obama-admin-not-being-as-open-as-promised/

So what happened to the “buzzwords” of the 2008 election campaign season? You know words like Change and Transparency. I guess they don’t apply anymore. Bold Emphasis is mine.

QUESTION: “Finally, we have not had a chance to ask President Obama any questions since this crisis began. There have been at least a couple of occasions that could have been open to the press that weren’t. Can you explain why we haven’t been able to talk to him?”

ROBERT GIBBS, WH: “Ben, I think you will get a chance likely to talk to the president later in the week when [Canadian] Prime Minister Harper is here. We have had a couple of occasions that have been still photographers only. Those were part of the coverage plans that had been in place for a bit now in terms of those events. I will say this, Ben. I think we have, like you all, watched a series of rapidly-moving events — you’ve heard from the president in what’s happened in Egypt. We will continue to keep you up-to-date as best as we can on what goes on, knowing quite honestly that some things in foreign policy have to be done away from TV cameras. Those are the types of direct and frank talks that the president had last night with President Mubarak.”

Hmm I remember when President Bush used to catch hell from the LEFT when he did the same things sometimes, out of necessity. Personally I am sure in this situation with President Obama it was warranted for not having cameras there also. However when you got into office as being the guy who was all for open-ness and have done things like making our interrogation techniques public information to show how “open” this administration is, then I am going to call you on it.

Scientists Contradict Obama’s UN Speech http://militarypundits.com/2009/09/scientists-contradict-obamas-un-speech/ http://militarypundits.com/2009/09/scientists-contradict-obamas-un-speech/#comments Tue, 22 Sep 2009 16:55:09 +0000 John http://militarypundits.com/?p=1005

President Barack Obama spoke before the United Nation’s “Climate Change Summit” today.

No nation, however large or small, wealthy or poor, can escape the impact of climate change.  Rising sea levels threaten every coastline.  More powerful storms and floods threaten every continent.  More frequent droughts and crop failures breed hunger and conflict in places where hunger and conflict already thrive. On shrinking islands, families are already being forced to flee their homes as climate refugees.  The security and stability of each nation and all peoples — our prosperity, our health, and our safety — are in jeopardy.  And the time we have to reverse this tide is running out.

And yet, we can reverse it.  John F. Kennedy once observed that “Our problems are man-made, therefore they may be solved by man.”  It is true that for too many years, mankind has been slow to respond or even recognize the magnitude of the climate threat. It is true of my own country, as well.  We recognize that.  But this is a new day.  It is a new era.  And I am proud to say that the United States has done more to promote clean energy and reduce carbon pollution in the last eight months than at any other time in our history.

Obviously,  Obama isn’t listening to some of the leading scientists on so-called “global warming,” or it’s current PC term “climate change.”

Last week, Professor Mojib Latif of Germany’s Leibniz Institute gave a speech about global warming climate change.   The Calvary Herald is about the only media that covered the event, for obvious reasons.

Latif is one of the leading climate modellers in the world. He is the recipient of several international climate-study prizes and a lead author for the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). He has contributed significantly to the IPCC’s last two five-year reports that have stated unequivocally that man-made greenhouse emissions are causing the planet to warm dangerously.

Yet last week in Geneva, at the UN’s World Climate Conference–an annual gathering of the so-called “scientific consensus” on man-made climate change –Latif conceded the Earth has not warmed for nearly a decade and that we are likely entering “one or even two decades during which temperatures cool.”

The global warming theory has been based all along on the idea that the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans would absorb much of the greenhouse warming caused by a rise in man-made carbon dioxide, then they would let off that heat and warm the atmosphere and the land.

But as Latif pointed out, the Atlantic, and particularly the North Atlantic, has been cooling instead. And it looks set to continue a cooling phase for 10 to 20 more years.

So, who do we believe here?  The most partisan President in the history of this country trying to further an extremely liberal agenda, or a scientist whose past research indicates that global warming is indisputable and now says he was wrong?

But it is increasingly clear that global warming is on hiatus for the time being. And that is not what the UN, the alarmist scientists or environmentalists predicted. For the past dozen years, since the Kyoto accords were signed in 1997, it has been beaten into our heads with the force and repetition of the rowing drum on a slave galley that the Earth is warming and will continue to warm rapidly through this century until we reach deadly temperatures around 2100.

While they deny it now, the facts to the contrary are staring them in the face: None of the alarmist drummers ever predicted anything like a 30-year pause in their apocalyptic scenario.

Latif says he expects warming to resume in 2020 or 2030.

In own words during the speech, Latib said that he is “not one of the sceptics.  However, we have to ask the nasty questions ourselves or other people will do it.”

The New Scientist also published parts of the speech.

Latif said NAO cycles also explained the recent recovery of the Sahel region of Africa from the droughts of the 1970s and 1980s. James Murphy, head of climate prediction at the Met Office, agreed and linked the NAO to Indian monsoons, Atlantic hurricanes and sea ice in the Arctic. “The oceans are key to decadal natural variability,” he said.

So, instead of facts from leading scientists on the issue of global warming climate change, President Obama used his typical “crisis” and “urgency” defense to try and force stupidity down our throats.

Mr. Secretary, as we meet here today, the good news is that after too many years of inaction and denial, there’s finally widespread recognition of the urgency of the challenge before us. We know what needs to be done.  We know that our planet’s future depends on a global commitment to permanently reduce greenhouse gas pollution.  We know that if we put the right rules and incentives in place, we will unleash the creative power of our best scientists and engineers and entrepreneurs to build a better world.  And so many nations have already taken the first step on the journey towards that goal.

But the journey is long and the journey is hard.  And we don’t have much time left to make that journey.  It’s a journey that will require each of us to persevere through setbacks, and fight for every inch of progress, even when it comes in fits and starts.  So let us begin.  For if we are flexible and pragmatic, if we can resolve to work tirelessly in common effort, then we will achieve our common purpose:  a world that is safer, cleaner, and healthier than the one we found; and a future that is worthy of our children.

But, has the mainstream media mentioned what this scientist has said?  Have they noted is 180 degree reversal?  No.  It doesn’t fit the liberal template of what they want the public to believe.

Out of Control http://militarypundits.com/2009/08/out-of-control/ http://militarypundits.com/2009/08/out-of-control/#comments Sat, 15 Aug 2009 15:25:09 +0000 John http://militarypundits.com/?p=899

There is a lot of heated debate out there today that mostly centers around the politics and aspirations of our out of control Congress and President. The recent town hall meetings on health care have generated a lot of heated confrontations, but mostly just spirited debate on the topic. Nancy Pelosi accused critics of the health care plan of being “nazis” and carrying “swastikas” to the rallies. Interestingly, up to that point on ONE instance of a swastika had been found at one of these town halls and it had a line drawn through it. In other words, the sign implied “we don’t want nazi-like health care.”

However, since our liberal politicians have made these wild and completely false accusations, instances of supposed “rightwing extremism” have been popping up all over the country. Suddenly, congressman are having swastikas spray painted on their buildings. The debate has moved into the absurd. MSNBC reports that threats against President Obama are higher than any other president in history and suggest this is because he is the first black president. Is this the case? Are the white supremacists out in full force fighting against health care and everything else simply because Obama is a black man?

According to the AP:

An African-American man from Mississippi admits posing as a white supremacist to send a death threat across state lines by Facebook.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 20-year-old Dyron L. Hart of Poplarville pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court to making a threat in November 2008.

Hart admitted creating a name and using a white supremacists’ photo to pose as a white man who planned to kill blacks because Barack Obama had been elected president.

Strangely, I only found that AP story on the Fox News site. The same “news” agency, MSNBC, that is carrying news of all these rightwing extremists and white supremacists has not said ONE WORD about Dyron Hart. CNN has a story up on the subject, however.

Maybe President Obama was right during his speech in Montana when responding to a self-professed “proud NRA member”:

Q Okay. My name is Randy, I’m from Ekalaka, Montana. And as you can see, I’m a proud NRA member. (Applause.) I believe in our Constitution, and it’s a very important thing. I also get my news from the cable networks because I don’t like the spin that comes from them other places.

THE PRESIDENT: Oh, you got to be — you got to be careful about them cable networks, though. (Laughter.) But that’s okay, go ahead, go on with your question.

Hopey-Change is nothing *NEW* http://militarypundits.com/2009/06/hopey-change-is-nothing-new/ http://militarypundits.com/2009/06/hopey-change-is-nothing-new/#comments Sun, 28 Jun 2009 17:42:23 +0000 Andy Wahl http://militarypundits.com/?p=826

Get this. 1948. With some minor changes it could be 2009… well, 2008 really. All too many already drank the brew and now we are seeing what it brings. Remember, in 1948 the United States had a national debt that was over four times the GNP as a result of WW-II. (And you thought we have a huge debt!) Our nation had a lot of choices to make.

Of course, most of the people who owned US Bonds then were Americans… not Chinese. But now we are waaaaay too smart to buy our own junk. Goes for cars, too.

There is not much on this earth that cannot be undone… except death and the passing of time. Most everything else can be undone… or perhaps fixed would be a better word. Make no mistake, though, the bottle of “ISM” has already been purchased and consumed by more than half of the population. Call it what you want… “liberalISM,” “socialISM” or whatever.

It’s funny that this actually came from a college. Nowadays, you’d be more likely to have a college or university produce a cartoon extolling the virtues of “ISM.”

It’s still nothing new. You know what is new?

So many people bought it.

Exclusive: Washingtonian Fakes Obama Photo http://militarypundits.com/2009/04/exclusive-washingtonian-fakes-obama-photo/ http://militarypundits.com/2009/04/exclusive-washingtonian-fakes-obama-photo/#comments Wed, 22 Apr 2009 21:16:11 +0000 CJ http://militarypundits.com/?p=660

The Washingtonian is publishing a photo of Barack Obama without a shirt on the cover of its May edition. There nothing wrong with that. What I have a problem with is the blatant attempts to make the President into something he’s not by photoshopping the photo. First is the original, then the airbrushed and edited photo used by the Washingtonian:

Now, here’s the edited version, on which I have highlighted the changes:

1. Shoulder airbrushed to looked more muscular through the use of shadows.
2. Bicep and shoulder airbrushed to look more muscular through the use of elongated shadows.
3. Love handles on both sides have been eliminated (not that he was fat to begin with!)
4. The color of his shorts has been changed and shadows added to add bulk to quads and legs.
5. Didn’t circle them, but airbrushing added to further define leg muscles.

So far, I don’t think these photos have been scrutinized yet! This is the first.

Homeland Security Secretary Apologizes http://militarypundits.com/2009/04/homeland-security-secretary-apologizes/ http://militarypundits.com/2009/04/homeland-security-secretary-apologizes/#comments Thu, 16 Apr 2009 13:47:46 +0000 Bouhammer http://militarypundits.com/?p=585

It seems that the uproar by many blogs (to include this one), Veteran groups like Vets For Freedom and Veterans of Foreign Wars, and many in the public in general have been heard by the Obama Administration. DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano gave an apology on Fox News on Thursday for the report that was blogged about on here that accused returning war veterans and those concerned about the 2nd Amendment being suspect of turning into domestic terrorism.

Personally I would like to have seen more than just this statement “If there’s one part of this report that I would rewrite …it would be that footnote,” which she said on Fox News. I would have rather seen her say that having the veteran reference everywhere in there is just wrong, and comparing all veterans to Timothy McViegh is just wrong. In my opinion that would have been the right thing to apologize for.

But hey, I guess beggars can’t be choosers and we should be glad that she at least realized the sh**storm she started with approving of this report in the first place.

Facts are so over-rated http://militarypundits.com/2009/04/facts-are-so-over-rated/ http://militarypundits.com/2009/04/facts-are-so-over-rated/#comments Thu, 02 Apr 2009 17:35:21 +0000 Bouhammer http://militarypundits.com/?p=400

Who cares about statistical facts when you can just skew the truth and allow the media to report it as fact. The Big O even has Hillary spouting these lies and you would think she would know better. I mean it was her husband who tried to skew the definition of the term “sexual relations” an re-define what it means.

This is why I watch Fox News, not because they are conservative or anything like that. Because they are fair, and they report fair things. They have plenty of opposing views and allow both sides to present arguments. Unlike the Crappy News Network or National Barack Channel who only report the side they want you to hear. Now, click below to read what I am talking about.
