Wait, I don’t get it. If you remember the moments, days, weeks following the attacks on 9/11 then you certainly remember the importance of faith and religion on just about everyone. Churches, Synagogues, and Mosques were filled to capacity by those that regularly attend and those that maybe hadn’t been to a house of worship in years.

The country was in despair, it was in fear and the country as a whole was sad and mourning. So most of us went to our places of worship to find solace and peace. It was the clergy of all these faiths that comforted so many people either directly or indirectly. In my opinion Religion is as much a part of the events of 9/11 as Fireman, Police, and military are. I consider it part of the fabric of that day.

So how can Mayor Bloomberg not include religious leaders in the memorial events on the 11th? Does he hate God? Does he hate religion? Is he a an Atheist or as known as in the Muslim faith, and Infidel?

He should be ashamed of himself and all of the people from all the religions of this world should be ashamed of him too. I would like to see the leaders of all the faiths; Catholic, Baptist, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Mormon, Pentecostal, etc. etc. would stand up and ask their members to make their voices heard about how mad they are about this. I would really like to see the people of NYC stand up and demand that he step down as mayor. His time is done, it is time for him to go back to his millions of dollars and business ventures and leave public civil-service to those that care about truly representing and caring for the public.

What an A$$hole http://militarypundits.com/2011/06/what-an-ahole/ http://militarypundits.com/2011/06/what-an-ahole/#comments Fri, 24 Jun 2011 14:17:31 +0000 Bouhammer http://militarypundits.com/2011/06/what-an-ahole/

I was going to write about this as I personally watched the President speak yesterday and my jaw hit the floor when he said this and showed such disrespect that he could not remember the details of the few MOHs he has presented, to include the very first one to a living recipient since Vietnam. I am sure Jared Monti’s family was just mortified.

Since the guys over at Blackfive beat me to it, here is the link so you can read what they already wrote. Overall to me it just shows what an uncaring a$$hole the President is. Not because of any other reason than just his disrespect for our warriors.

Delta Airlines is hosing the troops http://militarypundits.com/2011/06/delta-airlines-is-hosing-the-troops/ http://militarypundits.com/2011/06/delta-airlines-is-hosing-the-troops/#comments Wed, 08 Jun 2011 04:12:54 +0000 Country Singer http://militarypundits.com/?p=1388

Not that I fly that often, but when I do, I won’t be using Delta…

Update:  It appears that Delta is looking into the situation, and some of the blame looks to be on the Army.  If the Soldiers’ orders had them flying coach, then their orders should have reflected that only three bags were authorized (even though it’s a real SOB hauling that much gear around in just three bags).

Delta’s response is here: http://blog.delta.com/2011/06/07/military-travel-baggage-policies-our-thoughts/

..to ruin it for everyone else.

I have some friends who work for the TSA and they are stand up guys. However there are always some out there that give them a bad name just like any organization (Liddy England, Michael Yon, OJ).
There is an old saying that goes like “you never do nothing wrong until you get caught”. Well when you do that wrong in front of a reporter for Time Magazine then you can rest assured you are coing to get caught.

Or it was, until a male TSA agent walked behind us and hollered: “Hey, I thought she was mine! I was gonna do her!”

And that is why the TSA has started to become the most hated government organization in our country today. It is about freedoms and liberties ladies and gentlemen. We in America realize we have to give some up in current times due to security but it won’t be tolerated if you violate the trust of the American people for your own personal gratification.

The VFW does not like Veterans http://militarypundits.com/2010/10/the-vfw-does-not-like-veterans-2/ http://militarypundits.com/2010/10/the-vfw-does-not-like-veterans-2/#comments Fri, 08 Oct 2010 03:01:18 +0000 Bouhammer http://militarypundits.com/2010/10/the-vfw-does-not-like-veterans-2/

I am a member of VFW and let me tell you after reading the link below I was petty upset. Several vets I know who are members of the VFW are talking about canceling their memberships and even burning their membership cards.

Personally I don’t think that is what will get the VFW national leadership’s attention. I think it will be when their individual chapters stand up to national and let them know that these actions will not be tolerated.

I mean they are supporting Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer and Charles Schumer for goodness sake. Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot?

The UN is a farce and a waste of money http://militarypundits.com/2010/09/the-un-is-a-farce-and-a-waste-of-money/ http://militarypundits.com/2010/09/the-un-is-a-farce-and-a-waste-of-money/#comments Fri, 24 Sep 2010 01:10:26 +0000 Bouhammer http://militarypundits.com/2010/09/the-un-is-a-farce-and-a-waste-of-money/

I am sorry, but what has the UN done for us lately? What? Someone please comment and tell me what good they have contributed to the American People.

They are nothing but a place for us to sink money into and waste money on. When we need to deal with foreign governments and heads of state we deal with them directly. We don’t go through the UN.

When we do get the UN to create mandates calling for action on behalf of other countries nobody listens to them. It was the UN that created the mandate which resulted in Operations Northern Watch and Southern Watch in the years after the Persian Gulf War. Saddam repeatedly tried to shoot down our fighters and the fighters of our closest allies. The UN did nothing against him for trying that. The UN sanctioned the mandate that opened the door for us to go into Iraq and take Saddam out and remove his regime. Yet very few UN member countries participated or even stuck around that long. It was a UN resolution 1441 that allowed us to go into Iraq and remove him with a degree of international acceptance.

United Nations Security Council Resolution 1441 is a United Nations Security Council resolution adopted unanimously by the United Nations Security Council on November 8, 2002, offering Iraq underSaddam Hussein “a final opportunity to comply with its disarmament obligations” that had been set out in several previous resolutions (Resolution 660, Resolution 661, Resolution 678, Resolution 686,Resolution 687, Resolution 688, Resolution 707, Resolution 715, Resolution 986, and Resolution 1284).

Yet many, if not most of the UN members condemned us for that and have ever since early 2003.

Now they applaud this piece of trash, oxygen stealing, 1979 US Embassy storming radical when he walks in, yet worse when he makes the outlandish claim that 9/11 was an inside job?

He was greeted by applause when he walked into the United Nations General Assembly, and applauded again, even after questioning 9/11 and claiming that the American government may have been behind the attack.

If I was President for a day, I swear I would tell the UN to pack their sh!t and don’t let the door hit them on the way out. They can move that big building to France or Syria or better yet why not Tehran.

California Students sent home for Wearing American Flag Shirts http://militarypundits.com/2010/05/california-students-sent-home-for-wearing-american-flag-shirts/ http://militarypundits.com/2010/05/california-students-sent-home-for-wearing-american-flag-shirts/#comments Thu, 06 May 2010 16:32:00 +0000 Bouhammer http://militarypundits.com/2010/05/california-students-sent-home-for-wearing-american-flag-shirts/

WTF is going on with this country? How many tens of thousands of American men and women have died defending this country and for the freedoms we enjoy and our Flag and for what it stands? If you really want to know, go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_casualties_of_war and read those stats.

Now read the story below about how five California High School Students were sent home yesterday for wearing T-shirts with an American Flag on them. I am sitting here shocked numb over this. What country do I live in? Am I in the friggen twighlight zone or something?

There are so many people expending energy in protests over the law that Arizona passed, which is nothing more than their enforcement of a law already on the Federal Books making it ILLEGAL to be an ILLEGAL alien in this country and now we have this happening? Americans that care about this country need to mobilize against this school. They need to protest there, not in Arizona. They need to march in the streets of Morgan Hill, CA and let them know that this sign of disrespect against our flag and those that have fought for it is not gonna stand.

In fact you can call the High School and let them know how you feel at (408) 201-6100 or if you would like to contact the official who asked the students to remove their American Flag Bandannas you can contact Mr. Miguel Rodriquez at [email protected] or reach him at extension 40105 after calling the number above.

This school is in violation of the 1st Amendment and in violation of what it means to be a Patriotic American.

If Mr. Rodriguez or anyone else in the Live Oak School system want to celebrate the Mexico Independence Day Mexican army‘s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, then he should pack his crap, move to Mexico and renounce his US citizenship. Because it is clear that he cares more about that country (funny I thought by his name he was Irish) than he does this Great Country we are all proud of and fight for.

Administrators at a California high school sent five students home on Wednesday after they refused to remove their American flag T-shirts and bandannas — garments the school officials deemed “incendiary” on Cinco de Mayo.
Administrators at a California high school sent five students home on Wednesday after they refused to remove their American flag T-shirts and bandannas — garments the school officials deemed “incendiary” on Cinco de Mayo.
The five teens were sitting at a table outside Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, Calif., on Wednesday morning when Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez asked two of them to remove their American flag bandannas, the Morgan Hill Times reported. The boys told the newspaper they complied, but were asked to accompany Rodriguez to the principal’s office.
The five students — Daniel Galli, Austin Carvalho, Matt Dariano, Dominic Maciel and Clayton Howard — were then told they must turn their T-shirts inside-out or be sent home, though it would not be considered a suspension. Rodriguez told the students he did not want any fights to break out between Mexican-American students celebrating their heritage and those wearing American flags.
“They said we were starting a fight,” Dariano told the newspaper. “We were fuel to the fire.”
The boys told Rodriguez and Principal Nick Boden that turning their shirts inside-out was disrespectful, so their parents decided to take them home, the newspaper reports.
“I just couldn’t believe it,” Julie Fagerstrom, Maciel’s mother, told the newspaper. “I’m an open-minded parent, but it’s got to be on both sides. It can’t be five kids singled out.”
Galli told NBC Bay Area, “They said we could wear it on any other day, but today is sensitive to Mexican-Americans because it’s supposed to be their holiday so we were not allowed to wear it.”
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Morgan Hill Unified School District said it did not agree with the school’s actions.
“In an attempt to foster a spirit of cultural awareness and maintain a safe and supportive school environment, the Live Oak High School administration took certain actions earlier today,” the statement read. “The district does not concur with the Live Oak High School administration’s interpretation of either board or district policy related to these actions.”
Attempts to reach school officials early Thursday were not successful. A secretary told the Morgan Hill Times that Boden and Rodriguez were unavailable for comment on Wednesday.
According to its website, Live Oak High School is a 1,300-student institution in the southern part of Santa Clara County, with most students residing in the nearby cities of Morgan Hill and San Jose.
“The student population reflects the rich ethnic and socioeconomic diversity of the community,” the website reads.
More than 100 students were spotted wearing the colors of the Mexican flag — red, white and green — as they left school, including some who had the flag painted on their faces or arms, the Morgan Hill times reported.
While bandannas of any color are banned at the school, its dress code policy does not contain references to American flags.
“However, any clothing or decoration which detracts from the learning environment is prohibited,” the policy reads. “The school has the right to request that any student dressing inappropriately for school will change into other clothes, be sent home to change, and/or be subject to disciplinary action.”
Freshman Laura Ponce, who had a Mexican flag painted on her face and chest, told the Morgan Hill Times that Cinco de Mayo is the “only day” Mexican-American students can show their national pride.
“There was a lot of drama going on today,” Ponce told the newspaper.
Some other Mexican-American students reportedly said their flags were taken away or asked to be put away, but no other students were sent home on Wednesday.
Lis Wiehl, a former federal prosecutor and a Fox News legal analyst, said the incident appears to a “blatant” violation of the students’ First Amendment right to free speech. She noted that inciting violence is an exception to a First Amendment legal defense, but Wiehl said she saw no indications that the students provoked anyone.
“Unless I’m missing something, this seems like a blatant violation of the First Amendment,” said Wiehl, adding that uniforms are not required at the public school. “And they’re wearing, of all horrific things, the American flag.”

So the House of Representatives barely passed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act last night. Nancy (oxygen thief) Pelosi called it bi-partisian because there were a whole bunch of Republican amendments, but the TRUTH and REALITY is that the only think bi-partisian about this vote was the opposition. ZERO Republican voted for it, but 34 Democrats voted against it. So the opposition was bi-partisian, and so were the American people who are against it. People from all races, backgrounds, and political affiliations are against this legislations.

Now there are 10 states who are going to be filing lawsuits against the Federal Government for interfering into state’s rights. It comes down to the 10th Amendment people. Does our President and a majority of the Democratic party not believe in the 10th Amendment? Are they throwing the documents that are the basis of this country in the trash? It sure sounds like it.

Want to know how your representative voted? A YES “Y” vote is a vote in favor of the legislation.

What is Accountability? http://militarypundits.com/2010/02/what-is-accountability/ http://militarypundits.com/2010/02/what-is-accountability/#comments Sat, 27 Feb 2010 00:44:59 +0000 Bouhammer http://militarypundits.com/2010/02/what-is-accountability/

I have also used the quote of “You can delegate responsibility, but not accountability” I am thinking I need to send Charlie Rangel the definitions of each and what that quote means. How does the guy keep a straight face when talking to the press and actually say that he should not be held accountable for unethical and illegally funded trips to the Caribbean because it was his staff’s fault for not telling him or whatever reason he gave. I am dumbfounded that he could try to use that defense and expect the American people to believe it. Whatever happen to the “Buck Stops HERE” or “Ignorance is not an excuse” when breaking the law.
Someone needs to bust this piece of crap and throw his fat butt out of office yesterday. He is the poster child of what is wrong with Congress and why we are in the situation we are in here in the greatest country in the world. He is why so many Americans are pissed at Congress. It is because of people just like him that homestead in Congress so long they think they are above the law.

Constituents of Rep. Charlie Rangel, do this country a huge favor and vote him out (if he is not expelled from Congress beforehand). I don’t care what party person you put in there, just not him, not anymore.
