Obama Proving Again That He Is Ashamed Of America

President Obama has yet again let slip that he holds these United States in contempt. Moreover, his recent comments at the Nuclear Security Summit make me harken back to his wife’s comments during the election campaign about being the first time she has been proud to be an American. To wit, the President stated in response to the subject of American intervention in international conflicts, “…whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower, one way or another we get pulled into them.” WHAT?!?

Do these knuckleheads even know what it means to be an American?

I read in some blogger’s tagline quote from a guy named Jeff Cooper: “Pick up a rifle and you change instantly from a subject to a citizen.” Perhaps the Obama’s need to drop into a range sometime and squeeze off a few rounds.

The United States is a superpower for the simple reason that we have conducted peaceful changes of leadership for 235 years at the local, state, and federal levels. We intervene in international conflicts so that others around the globe can benefit from the same transition of power. We as Americans want everyone to succeed in achieving peace and stability. We don’t do this so that we can exert power over them. We do it, because it is the right thing to do. I guess Obama doesn’t think that bringing stability to the world is a laudable goal. Or perhaps he just expects that his words alone can bring about peace and stability. His words did wonders for John Corzine, so why not the World?!?

Obama’s contempt for the United States is felt in every action he takes, despite his lofty and rambling rhetoric to the contrary. He has dismantled and supported the dismantling of many of the foundations of this nation. He supports Interpol’s operations within our borders. He supports taking away guns of all kinds. He supports making ourselves subject to the UN’s Euro-phreak policies and treaties. He supports bowing to China, Saudi Arabia, and Muslims of all walks of life, hugging Socialist dictators, and poking his finger (thumbing his nose) at Israel. He brings our enemies close, not so that we can keep eyes on them but so that we can hold hands and sing a multi-lingual rendition of Kumbayah. Our friends? Well, perhaps he has none outside of liberal universities and tyrannical dictatorships, so Israel is screwed. They’ll just have to dig in until we can elect a new C-in-C with some foreign policy acumen.

I have to wonder what Obama thinks when he lays in bed at night. Does he cringe, because he has yet to bring about the fulfillment of the Cloward-Piven Strategy? Does he fear the power he possesses by occupying the seat of the historical Leader of the Free World? Is that why he genuflects to two-bit dictators, oil tycoons masquerading as royalty, and communist leaders? Is he embarrassed by being an American and being the de facto torch bearer of our legacy?

President Reagan – that Great American – continuously garnered the vote of the union workers (much to the chagrin of the union bosses). When asked why they would vote for a Republican, the union workers said, “He makes me proud to be an American.” Obama’s lack of pride has begun to erode that citizen-pride we feel. Without that, there is no America.
