10th Amendment Assertions Gain Strength
Oklahoma is the latest state to - again - pass a 10th amendment resolution asserting its sovereignty. The Constitutional amendment reads:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
My only frustration is that only now are the states waking up. The same abuses were had under the Bush administration and the Clinton one before it. Granted, none of those abuses were nearly as egregious as the ones being heaped upon us since 20 January.
